KU graduate tuition and fees depend on three main factors: residency, campus, and school. Use the calculator below to estimate costs.
The calculator assumes 18 credit hours per year (9 each semester), but you can adjust hours to see how costs change. Most graduate students take classes within a single school, so select your school to include any course fees.
Online students and certain Edwards Campus students pay a flat tuition rate with no extra fees, the same for in-state and out-of-state. Choose your program and credit hours to see this estimate.

Description of tuition and fee costs
Lawrence campus required fees
Required student fees are $287.10 per semester, for full-time students. All other students pay a prorated rate of $46.47 per credit hour.
Required wellness fees are $245.40 per semester, for students taking three or more credit hours.
Students at the Lawrence campus are assessed an infrastructure fee of $3.00 per credit hour.
Students at the Edwards campus are assessed a fee of $34.55 per credit hour.
Online fees
Online courses are billed at a flat rate, per credit hour, which includes all fees.
