Types of Financial Aid Processed by the OSFA

Because financial aid policies and procedures change every year, we must update our information accordingly. Please select the year for which you are applying. Paper copies are available from the OSFA upon request.

 

The chart below lists the minimum enrollment required to be eligible for each of the listed programs.

Board of Regents Scholarships 12 hours (no award possible for lesser enrollment)
Kansas Comprehensive Grant (KCG) 12 hours (no award possible for lesser enrollment)
Federal Pell Grant 12 hours *
Federal Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and/or PLUS Loan(s) 6 hours **
Federal Perkins Loan 6 hours **
Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG) 6 hours **

Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) 12 hours (no award possible for lesser enrollment)
National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (SMART) 12 hours (no award possible for lesser enrollment)

* Award possible for less than full-time enrollment, but adjustments are required. If you will continue to be enrolled in less than 12 hours, please update your enrollment status in Enroll & Pay.

** Award possible for 6 or more hours but adjustments are required if you are enrolled in 6-8.99 hours. If you intend to be enrolled in 6-8.99 hours, please update your enrollment status in Enroll & Pay.
