Financial Aid Eligibility

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

To be eligible for student financial aid, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. Check here for SAP policy highlights or download the full SAP policy.

Enrollment Status

You may not qualify for all of your financial aid if you are not enrolled in at least 12 hours (undergraduates) or 9 hours (graduate/professional/law students). Review the Financial Aid Guide for more information on reporting enrollment status. If you are considering withdrawing from the university or dropping classes, please review our Withdrawing and/or Dropping Classes publication.

Eligibility for Federal Financial Aid

Eligibility for federal student aid is often based on need and several other factors. Check here for the general eligibility requirements for federal financial aid and Review the Financial Aid Programs at a Glance publication to see specific eligibility requirements for a particular program. Contact the OSFA if you have any questions about your eligibility for federal financial aid.
